DFS 100 Low Expansion Foam Sprinkler Systems
As part of Delta Fire’s range of Foam Systems the Delta Low Expansion Foam Sprinkler is designed for use in deluge type foam sprinkler systems.
Within the design and development procedure of producing a fixed foam fire fighting system their are various options that can be used for intergrated discharge devices. These may take the form of Foam Generators, Bund Pourers, Fixed Fire Monitors, Top Pourers or the Foam Sprinkler Systems – DFS 100.
Manufactured from corrosion resistant materials in Delta’s manufacturing facility in Norfolk, UK the DFS 100 Foam Sprinklers are produced under an ISO 9001 Quality Management System ensuring consistency and quality of manufacture.
The DFS 100 is an extremely versatile foam sprinkler system that can be fitted both horizontally or vertically subject to the specific requirements and is compatible with any foam types. Flow rates can be pre-engineered to give precise application rates to suit individual risks.
The DFS 100 Foam Sprinklers have an all stainless steel basket and bronze nozzle and weight just 0.15 kg (0.33 lbs).
Connection is via a G ¾” female threaded inlet and flow is an impressive 60 litre per minutes based on a 2½ bar pressure. Flow can be calculated as follows: Q=√P x 38 where Q = Flow in litres per minute and P = Pressure in bars.
The DFS 100 has a foam expansion factor of 12 .
