Foam Equipment – MX Series Bund Pourers
Delta Medium Expansion MX Bund Pourers are an integral product within the Delta range of fixed foam equipment.
The MX Series is designed for both fire protection systems and vapour suppression in bunded or diked areas surrounding flammable liquid or toxic chemical storage tanks.
They are also ideally suited to other applications where large volumes of free flowing foam are required such as process areas, warehouses and cable ducting etc.
A fire in a bunded area can escalate very quickly if not controlled immediately and can soon involve one or more contained storage vessels. A leak of un-ignited fuel from a faulty valve, cracked pipe or an overfill can threaten the full installation very quickly. Delta MX foam pourers produce large volumes of medium expansion foam , quickly securing the bund. Similarly toxic vapours can be suppressed.
Within the delta fixed foam equipment range there are three lightweight, compact and robust MX options with flow rates available in 600, 1200 and 1800 litres per minute but can be flow engineered to precise requirements to give the correct application rate and optimum system cost.
Delta Fire’s range of fixed foam equipment is manufactured to exacting standards in the UK on state-of-the art CNC machinery under an ISO 9001 Quality System.
