Delta standpipes connect hoses to underground hydrant valves. The company offers single- or double-head standpipes with 2½ in instantaneous outlets conforming to BS 336 (single-twist release). They are used to draw water from hydrants for firefighting or water-transfer operations.
Standard models have a 2½ in BSRT inlet and may be fitted with an optional double-check valve. Contractors’ versions feature ¾ or 1” in bib-tap connections. WRAS Approved models available. Delta also supplies hydrant keys and bars for on/off control of hydrants.
