NOR (also known as NORLAS) fire couplings are Norwegian standard symmetrical fire hose fittings used to connect hoses, pumps, and firefighting equipment. They feature a lugged, twist lock design that allows quick connection and secure sealing in fire service and marine applications.
NOR couplings are typically supplied in three standard sizes: NOR 1 NOR 2 NOR 3 These correspond to different hose diameters and lug spacings, with NOR 2 being one of the most commonly used sizes in marine and offshore applications.
NOR and Swedish SMS couplings are different national standards and are not directly compatible. NOR uses a lug lock system designed for Norwegian specifications, while SMS uses a different Swedish symmetrical design. Compatibility is only possible through purpose made adaptors, which allow connection between the two systems in marine, industrial, and fire protection setups

Fantastic equipment and customer service. Would high recommend Delta Fire to any company looking for fire service equipment. After doing a lot of market research, I found and contacted Delta Fire to get more information about their equipment. Any questions I had where answered, they helped me look at my company's needs and pick which products where best suited. Extremely helpful. To add the very long warranty and that they are UK made is what separates the from the rest. Thank you guys for all your help. 10/10
