The Delta Fire Hose Washer is designed to handle a wide range of fire hoses, making it suitable for both operational and training environments. It can accommodate standard fire hoses with diameters typically ranging from 25 mm (1″) up to 70 mm (2.5″), depending on the model and configuration. The washer is compatible with lay-flat hoses, reinforced hoses, and hose reel tubing used in industrial, marine, and emergency applications. Its adjustable internal jets and guide system ensure hoses are cleaned efficiently regardless of size, while protecting the hose from damage during the washing process.

The Delta Fire Hose Washer is easy to operate and install. It connects directly to a water supply, typically via a 2″ BSP male inlet or an adapted fitting, and uses internal high-pressure jets to propel and rinse the hose as it is pulled through the unit. To operate, the hose is fed into the washer inlet, and water pressure activates the internal jets, which clean both the interior and exterior while moving the hose forward. Installation is straightforward: the washer is placed on a flat, stable surface, connected to a pressurized water source, and secured if necessary. For hoses of different diameters, the washer’s guide system can be adjusted to ensure smooth passage without kinking or damage. The Delta Fire Hose Washer requires a pressurized water supply, typically connected via a 2″ BSP male inlet or an adapted fitting. It is designed to operate effectively at standard fire appliance or hydrant pressures, usually in the range of 2 to 6 bar (30–90 psi), ensuring the internal jets generate sufficient force to propel the hose through the unit while cleaning both the interior and exterior.
