The Delta Hydroshield Water Curtain Nozzles are designed to quickly and efficiently establish a large Waterwall to protect the operative against heat, sparks, smoke and noxious gasses creating a safe zone from behind which firefighters are free to tackle the fire through the Waterwall with jet nozzles.
Available in two flow options (800 LPM or 1400 LPM), the Hydroshield is supplied as standard with a BSP threaded inlet for compatibility with any International inlet adaptor. Gunmetal adaptors are available for use in harsh, saline rich marine applications.

Delta’s Hydroshield nozzle (also marketed as a water-curtain nozzle) creates a wide waterwall to protect firefighters from radiant heat, sparks, smoke and noxious gases. The design quickly establishes a curtain of water that can also cool fuel storage tanks and vapour clouds.
The Water-Wall Nozzle Hose builds on the Hydroshield concept by using 20 m lengths of Nova Type 3 hose fitted with up to 25 interchangeable nozzles. It produces a continuous water wall up to 8m high. Nozzle variants can be interchanged to deliver powerful jets or fine mists; Hoses can be interconnected to form continuous hose runs of up to 60m.
Key users include fire & rescue services, defence sectors, petrochemicals, oil & gas, waste-recycling sites, marine sectors, nuclear and mining. It’s used for forestry fires, fuel-storage protection, waste site protection, event perimeter heat shields, vapour suppression, dust suppression and rapid cooling.
