NH (National Hose) and NST (National Standard Thread) fire couplings are American threaded hose fittings used in firefighting systems to connect hoses, hydrants, pumps, and nozzles. They use a straight thread design with a gasket seal to create a watertight connection under pressure. NH and NST are effectively the same standard in practice and are widely used across US fire service equipment for reliable hose connections.
Delta Fire supplies NH / NST couplings in standard American fire hose sizes including 1 inch, 1½ inch, 2½ inch, 3 inch, and 4 inch variants depending on application. These sizes cover attack lines, supply lines, and hydrant connections used in industrial and municipal firefighting systems.
NH / NST couplings are not directly compatible with British fire fittings such as Instantaneous, BSRT, or Storz systems due to different thread types and connection mechanisms. However, Delta Fire supplies a range of adaptors that allow NH / NST systems to be converted to British Standard fittings where interoperability is required.

After doing a lot of market research, I found and contacted Delta Fire to get more information about their equipment. Any questions I had where answered, they helped me look at my company's needs and pick which products where best suited. Extremely helpful.
