Hose Deployment Packs are pre-packed, portable assemblies of fire hoses designed to allow rapid, organized deployment during firefighting or emergency operations. They typically include lay-flat hoses rolled or folded in a durable carrying pack, sometimes with couplings and nozzles attached, so teams can quickly connect and deploy water lines without the need to unroll hoses manually from reels. Deployment packs are widely used by fire and rescue services, industrial safety teams, and marine operators to save time, reduce handling fatigue, and ensure that hoses are protected from damage and ready for immediate use
Hose Deployment Packs offer several benefits for firefighting and emergency operations. They allow for rapid and organized hose deployment, reducing setup time and improving operational efficiency. The packs protect hoses from damage, dirt, and abrasion during storage and transport, extending their service life. They also reduce handling fatigue for personnel, as hoses are pre-packed and easy to carry. Additionally, deployment packs help ensure consistent water flow, as hoses are less likely to kink or twist during deployment, making them ideal for fire and rescue services, industrial safety teams, and marine operations.
Delta Fire’s Hose Deployment Packs are available in a two‑part system designed for fast, organised hose deployment. The system consists of a Lay Pack, which stores an attack line with pre‑connected adaptors and breeching ready for quick connection, and an Attack Pack, which self‑feeds the hose in a controlled manner as firefighters advance toward the fire. The Lay Pack and Attack Pack can be supplied empty (for custom loading) or pre‑loaded with hose, adaptors, breeching, a door wedge, and a fire nozzle so the pack is ready for immediate use. This setup is particularly effective for Cleveland hose loads and high‑rise fire scenarios, reducing trip hazards and tangled hoses while saving valuable time during deployment.
