The Delta DO9 Jet/Spray nozzle is a popular, low-cost, marine option appealing to a wide range of applications where there are corrosive, saline-rich environments.
The DO9 Type A short-pattern nozzle is supplied with either 2½” Instantaneous or 2” BSP male inlets for compatibility to any International inlet fitting. The smaller Type B model is available with 1½” Instantaneous inlet.
The Delta DO9 Jet Spray Nozzle is a UK manufactured, low cost firefighting nozzle designed for general purpose use in demanding environments. It provides a simple on off operation with the ability to switch between jet and spray patterns by rotating the front barrel. It is widely used in marine, industrial, and washdown applications where durability and corrosion resistance are important.
The DO9 is essentially a higher capacity, longer pattern version compared to the DO5. While both models offer the same basic jet and spray functionality with simple twist operation, the DO9 is designed to deliver higher flow rates and improved reach, making it more suitable for mainline firefighting applications. The DO5 is typically used for lighter duty or more compact setups, whereas the DO9 is preferred where higher performance and longer throw are required.
The DO9 is commonly used in marine environments, industrial facilities, construction sites, and general firefighting operations. It is particularly suited to corrosive or saline rich environments such as ships, offshore installations, and coastal facilities, as well as washdown and dust suppression tasks where reliability and simple operation are essential.

Fantastic equipment and customer service. Would high recommend Delta Fire to any company looking for fire service equipment. After doing a lot of market research, I found and contacted Delta Fire to get more information about their equipment. Any questions I had where answered, they helped me look at my company's needs and pick which products where best suited. Extremely helpful.
