Delta RFG-Series Rimseal Foam Pourer Sets are used for protecting Open Top Floating Roof storage tanks.
Delta Fire Rimseal Pourers are fixed foam discharge devices designed to protect the rim seal area of open top floating roof storage tanks. They form part of a fixed foam fire protection system and typically consist of a foam generator and a pourer unit working together to produce and deliver low expansion foam directly into the annular seal area where fires most commonly start.
The rim seal area is one of the highest risk ignition points on floating roof tanks due to the presence of flammable vapours and oxygen exposure. Fires in this area can escalate quickly, so rimseal protection is critical for controlling vapour ignition, limiting fire spread, and protecting fuel storage infrastructure in high risk industrial environments.
Rimseal pourers are installed around the perimeter of floating roof tanks and connected to a fixed foam supply system. Each unit is positioned to discharge foam gently down the tank shell into the rim seal area, ensuring even coverage without disturbing the floating roof. They are typically mounted on the tank structure and connected to foam proportioning systems as part of a permanent installation.
They are designed for use with low expansion foam concentrates, including modern fluorine free foams. The system produces fully aspirated foam to create a stable blanket that suppresses vapours and controls fire conditions effectively in hydrocarbon storage applications.

Fantastic equipment and customer service. Would high recommend Delta Fire to any company looking for fire service equipment. After doing a lot of market research, I found and contacted Delta Fire to get more information about their equipment. Any questions I had where answered, they helped me look at my company's needs and pick which products where best suited. Extremely helpful.
